Serial shoplifter identified; Cash reward for information on his whereabouts

On March 2, Franklin Police asked for help from the public to identify a serial shoplifter suspected in several area Target store thefts.

That suspect has been identified as Michael Whitlow, who is now wanted by Franklin Police for Theft and Assault after he attempted stealing two vacuum cleaners from Franklin’s Columbia Avenue Target.

During his getaway, Whitlow assaulted store security, who tried holding him for police.

Franklin Police & Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward for information on a serial shoplifter suspected in several area Target store thefts.

Last week he tried stealing two vacuum cleaners, valued at $850, from Franklin’s Columbia Avenue Target. He left the merchandise behind and fled after resisting security who tried holding him for police. The suspect was driving the white truck, pictured here.

Franklin Police and Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward to anyone who can identify these thieves. Wednesday afternoon they tried stealing 15 Apple Pencils valued at nearly $2,000. They dropped several of them after being confronted by Apple Store employees. The two left in a bright green Dodge Charger.

Franklin Police want to identify this thief. On February 6, he rented a $36,000 skid-steer from Sunbelt Rentals of Franklin. The company later learned that all of the information the suspect provided was false. He was last seen driving a black Dodge Ram pickup.

Franklin Police are hoping someone might recognize this thief. He used credit cards stolen from a Kroger shoppers purse in Franklin to go on a $12.5k shopping spree in Green Hills, racking up at stores like Apple, Microsoft, and Louis Vuitton.

The victim’s purse was in her shopping cart, and she didn’t realize her wallet had been slipped out of her purse until she was in the checkout line.

Franklin Police and Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward for information that leads to the identity & arrest of this thief. He’s wanted after ‘purchasing’ a $20k RTV from a Franklin business using a fake cashier’s check.

Franklin Police are working with detectives in Murfreesboro who are also trying to identify this suspect, wanted in a similar case there.
