Franklin Police have issued a *SILVER ALERT* for 63-year-old Joseph Eads. He has been missing since about 5pm Thursday night, and was last seen on foot near Murfreesboro Rd. and Carothers Pkwy.

Mr. Eads, who has dementia, was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and blue jeans, and walks with a cane.

Ohio woman wanted after disappearing with three Franklin children

Franklin Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of a woman and three children. Late last night, the children’s grandmother reported that 25-year-old Jovelie Nelson, of Ohio, took a 2-year-old child from the grandmother’s Natchez Street residence. Nelson then went to an elementary school parking lot in Franklin where she took a 6 and 7-year-old from the grandmother, 7:30 Friday morning. The kids are Nelson’s biological children, but an Ohio judge had removed them from her custody. Nelson and the three children were last seen in a blue 4-door vehicle that was being driven by an unknown person at 7:30 Friday morning, in Franklin.

It is unknown if the children are in any danger, but family and police concern has increased as the whereabouts of Nelson and her three children remain unknown. Nelson has ties to Franklin, Nashville, and Lima, Ohio. She is currently wanted for three felony counts of Custodial Interference. A Crime Stoppers reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for anyone who has information on their whereabouts.

Police find missing Cool Springs man following tip from jogger

Dennis Clark left his Cool Springs home for a walk on Thanksgiving. This morning, more than 60 hours later, he has been found. A jogger who was watching this morning’s television news called Franklin Police to report that she saw a man matching Clark’s description, yesterday, near the jogging path at Cool Springs Boulevard and Carothers Parkway. Responding officers began canvassing that area on foot and found Clark laying in the bushes where he may have experienced a medical emergency. An ambulance transported Clark to the hospital where he has been reunited with his family.

The Franklin Police Department credits the news media and the jogger who called police for finding Mr. Clark alive.

Franklin Police investigating man’s disappearance from Cool Springs neighborhood

Franklin Police are investigating the disappearance of a man from the Knolls of Cool Springs subdivision.

Family members say that 57-year-old Dennis Clark left his Franklin home for a walk at 4:00 pm Thanksgiving Day, and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Clark’s family grows more concerned with each passing hour, because Clark left without his wallet, keys, or cell phone. Clark does not suffer from Alzheimer’s or dementia. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and khaki pants.

Franklin Police seeking information on missing man

Franklin Police are asking the public to call with any information they may have about a missing man who was last seen on August 27. Lawrence Moore, who is 57-years-old, disappeared following an argument with an acquaintance. Detectives are concerned that he has not been seen or heard from since. Moore’s 2005, gold, 4-door Kia Spectra is also unaccounted for.

SILVER ALERT: 78-year-old dementia patient drove away from a residence in Franklin, missing

SledgeFranklin Police have issued a *SILVER ALERT* for 78-year-old Clifton Sledge. He found a set of keys and unexpectedly drove away from his home, near Carothers Parkway and Murfreesboro Road in a 2006 black Chevy Impala with Tennessee registration C 1231 J , at 4:20pm. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, khaki pants, and glasses.

Police searching for missing elderly Franklin man

Franklin Police are currently looking for an elderly resident, missing since 10am. His family in concerned that he may have become confused and their worry has grown with the approaching darkness.

Officers are on the lookout for 88-year-old William Cunningham. He left his Franklin home this morning in a maroon 1998 Buick Century with Tennessee registration 4856 DD5. Mr. Cunningham recently moved from Murfreesboro to Franklin, and family fears that he may have become confused. If you see Mr. Cunningham or his vehicle, call 9-1-1.
