Phone scammers are at it again in Franklin. Several residents, Friday night, are reporting they received calls that make mention of warrants for their arrest, and even jail time.

The calls are simply unscrupulous attempts to swindle unsuspecting residents out of money and personal information like their Social Security number.

If you receive a call you believe is part of a scam, hang up & call police.

Children who have aging parents should talk with their loved ones about scams, and warn them to never give anyone numbers or codes to their credit cards, bank cards, or any personal or financial information over the phone.
