Three charged in reverse prostitution sting

During a reverse prostitution sting, Thursday, Franklin Police Flex Officers and Vice Detectives charged three suspects in a “John” sting. Utilizing an Internet site frequented by Johns and prostitutes, undercover officers arranged to meet the suspects who were seeking sex for hire.

Each arrived at an undisclosed Franklin hotel and offered a police informant cash for sex. All three suspects were charged with Patronizing Prostitution. One of the suspects was also charged with physically assaulting the police informant. All of the suspects are due in court 06/22/2017 at 1:00 pm.

Prostitution is not a victimless crime, and is often connected to other serious offenses.
