A Nashville man remains behind bars this morning after jumping from a moving vehicle that an officer was behind. It happened Monday afternoon, at 3:45, on Bakers Bridge Avenue in Cool Springs.

Officers caught up to 27-year-old Robert Lucas hiding in a stall in the women’s bathroom inside of Logan’s Roadhouse. Lucas became combative with officers in the bathroom, but was taken into custody after a brief struggle. Lucas told officers that he went into the bathroom to inject heroin. Officers found evidence that heroin had been in the stall with Lucas, who attempted to flush it down the toilet.

Lucas, charged with Resisting Stop/Halt/Frisk and Tampering with Evidence, is being held in the Williamson County Jail on a $7,000 bond. He is due in court 12/08/2016 at 1:00 pm. Lucas is a convicted felon on probation.
