SILVER ALERT: 81-year-old dementia patient drove away from a residence in Franklin, missing

UPDATE: Thomas Pate has been found, Silver Alert cancelled.missing-person

Franklin Police have issued a Silver Alert for 81-year-old Thomas E. Pate.  He unexpectedly drove away from his residence near West Main and Downs Blvd. at approximately 4:30pm in a 2003 Lexus SUV with license plate 987PFR.  The vehicle is bluish silver with a dent on the rear drivers side.

Mr. Pate was last seen wearing khaki Carhart pants, a plaid green flannel shirt and a pink and grey vest.
