Police searching for
missing California man in Franklin

Franklin Police are searching for a 69-year-old man whose actions, after arriving here from California late Thursday night, leave his family members worried. Gilbert (Gill) Odell arrived from California just a few hours ago. While out for a cigarette, he jumped the fence, and walked away from his memory care assisted living home, on Riverside Drive in Franklin. Gill suffers from dementia. Family reports that he has a history of doing this, but fears he may be too confused to realize he is no longer in California. If you see Gilbert Odell, call 9-1-1.
