Two Louisville theft suspects were arrested, Tuesday night, for Felony Theft after FPD Flex Team Officers caught them in the act.
At 9:20 pm, plain-clothes officers working in the Cool Springs area saw 33-year-old Rodrecus Lee walk out of Marshalls, located at 2000 Mallory Lane, with merchandise concealed under his jacket. After briefly stopping at his parked car, Lee walked back into the store where he met up with 29-year-old Ebony White. Officers stopped the couple as they exited the store together, and found them in possession of tools used to remove anti-theft sensors. Inside their vehicle, officers discovered more than $3,000 in stolen clothing from several Middle Tennessee stores. Marijuana was also discovered in the car.
White, charged with Felony Theft, Possession of an Anti-Theft Device Tool, and Marijuana Possession, is free on a $14,500 bond. Lee, who initially lied to officers about his identity, remains jailed on a $16,500 bond, charged with Criminal Impersonation, Felony Theft, Possession of an Anti-Theft Device Tool, and Marijuana Possession. Both suspects face a judge 02/04/2016 at 1:00pm.
