They say that crime doesn’t pay. But, Crime Stoppers does, and thanks to tips from the community, the suspects in this surveillance picture have been identified.

After releasing this photo in a news release on January 18, tips immediately came in identifying 28-year-old Leonard Beard of Dickson, and Nakesha Lewis, 35, of Nashville, as the suspects wanted for stealing a flat screen television, Blu-ray player, and an air rifle from Franklin’s Walmart on January 6.

Beard, a convicted felon, is in custody at the Cheatham County Jail on unrelated charges. After serving his time there, Beard will be transferred to the Williamson County Jail, where he will be charged with Felony Theft. Nashville Police surrendered Nakesha Lewis to Franklin officers at 2am, Friday. Lewis, charged with Felony Theft, is being held in the Williamson County Jail on a $4,000 bond. She is due in court 02/04/2016 at 1pm.
