Chief Promotes new Sergeant and Lieutenant

IMG_4672 At a special ceremony this morning at Police Headquarters, Franklin Police Chief Deborah Faulkner promoted Master Patrol Officer Amy Butler to Sergeant, and Sergeant Rick Clouse to the rank of Lieutenant. “These police veterans have proven their ability to lead and inspire,” said Chief Deborah Faulkner. “I am honored by their service and dedication to this Department and our community.”

This morning, City Administrator Eric Stuckey congratulated Butler and Clouse on their accomplishment and challenged them in their continued commitment to delivering police excellence to Franklin.

Sergeant Butler’s mother pinned her new badge to her uniform. Clouse’s wife took the honors of pinning on his new Lieutenant’s badge. Lieutenant Clouse and Sergeant Butler have been assigned to the Department’s Alpha Shift, which starts its tour of duty at 9:00pm.
