Acting on a tip about possible prostitution activity at a Franklin hotel, Franklin Vice Detectives and Flex Officers initiated surveillance at the Extended Stay, 680 Bakers Bridge Avenue. It did not take long for undercover officers to observe traffic in and out of the hotel consistent with prostitution.
Kimberly Whitlock, 29, of Portland, OR, was taken into custody and charged with Prostitution, Promoting Prostitution, Marijuana Possession, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A substantial amount of cash was seized from her room. Whitlock is being held in the Williamson County Jail on a $36,000 bond; she is due in court 10/08/2015 at 1:00pm.
Tennessee law requires police to issue a misdemeanor citation (ticket), in lieu of a custodial arrest, to certain offenders. Officers cited the man listed below for Patronizing Prostitution, and released him, in accordance with that law.
