A Nashville woman remains jailed tonight after being caught driving drunk with her unrestrained toddler in the back seat.

At 2:45 this morning, Officers stopped 25-year-old Latasha Black on Carter near Natchez St. in Franklin for a traffic violation. Officers quickly determined that Black was intoxicated, and that she had her three-year-old child, unrestrained, in the back seat.

Black, charged with DUI – Second Offense, Violation of the Implied Consent Law, Driving on a Revoked Driver’s License, Violation of the Child Restraint Law, and Reckless Endangerment, is being held in the Williamson County Jail on a $7,500 bond. She is due in court 09/24/2015 at 1:00 pm.
