There are several updates to a case we first told you about, yesterday.
Since filing her initial report, the victim in this case discovered additional pieces of jewelry missing, bringing the total loss in this theft to approximately $250,000.
Last night at 8:30, officers were summoned to the Franklin home of a relative to the suspects in this case, Travis and Kelly Duncan. There, a woman who was caring for the Duncan’s baby noticed the corner of a plastic baggie sticking out of a seam on the child’s stuffed animal. Inside, two rings from this case were discovered; one valued at $150,000 and one valued at $50,000. Those rings were immediately returned to the victim, who was elated by the discovery.
Travis Duncan, the remaining at-large suspect in this case, was captured late last night by Mt. Juliet Police. At 11:45 pm, a tip was called in to Mt. Juliet Police by someone who saw, in a TV newscast, that Duncan was wanted. Mt. Juliet Officers found Duncan at a home in the 400 block of Sunset Drive. He was taken into custody, and has now been booked into the Williamson County Jail where he is being held for Felony Theft on a $30,000 bond. Travis Duncan is due in court 05/07/2015 at 1pm.
I love it when a case comes together.
