Suicide is the second leading cause of death for Tennessee youth ages 12-18. This is a serious threat to our children.
On April 7th, Judge Sharon Guffee, Franklin Police Chief Deborah Faulkner, and Williamson County Sheriff Jeff Long will partner with the Jason Foundation to raise awareness of the issue, and inform parents of the warning signs. The Jason Foundation provides awareness and educational programs on teen suicide across the United States.
Each day in our nation, more than 5,400 young people, grades 7-12, attempt suicide – many are met with devastating results. Four out of five teens who attempt suicide have given clear warning signs. Join us to learn what they are, and how you can avoid heartbreaking consequences in the lives of those you love.
This seminar is free, and open to the public.
