On Sunday, 02/08/2015, 26-year-old Samantha Martin shoplifted almost $400 in merchandise from the Cool Springs Belk. When security tried to stop her, she threatened to mace them and ran to her car. After Martin got into her BMW, she raced toward the security officer who was trying to stop her, forcing security to jump out of the way to avoid being run over.

A police investigation led to the identification of the suspect, and warrants were issued for the arrest of Martin for Theft and Aggravated Assault – a felony. Flex Officers arrested Martin this morning while she was walking to her car outside her Nashville home.

At the time of this release, Martin was being held in the Williamson County Jail on a $3,000 bond. She is due in court 02/26/2015 at 1:00pm.
