A 21-year-old Franklin man has been identified as the suspect in yesterday morning’s robbery at the Murfreesboro Rd Shell.
Detectives developed Anthony Mikal James, of Franklin, as the suspect and FPD Flex Unit Officers arrested him at his apartment this afternoon. James, charged with Aggravated Robbery (Class B Felony) and Especially Aggravated Kidnapping (Class A Felony), is being held in the Williamson County Jail on a $1 million bond; he will likely go before a judge in the morning.
“Franklin residents and business owners can rest assured that we will work tirelessly to identify and arrest dangerous suspects who prey on innocent victims,” said Chief Deborah Faulkner. “Our residents deserve our best – criminals can count on it.”
