UPDATE: 09/29/2014: Maxine Rose Roberts is in police custody, in Naperville, IL, and awaiting extradition to Franklin. The FPD is still trying to identify the black male, also featured in this release.

September 24, 2014: Franklin, TN – Franklin Police are asking for the public’s help with locating 22-year-old Maxine Roberts. Investigators have identified Roberts as the Indiana woman who stole a Wisconsin resident’s identity, and then used it to open a line of credit at a Franklin Lowe’s – running up more than $2,000 in fraudulent charges. Roberts is currently wanted by Franklin Police for Identity Theft and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.  It is unknown if Roberts, from the Hammond, Indiana area, is still in Middle Tennessee.  

An unidentified black male accompanied Roberts during the commission of her crime. The two left in a white Nissan Altima.
