Crime Down in Franklin; Sometimes success is measured by what doesn’t happen

Crime downFranklin, TN – Crime in Franklin’s growing community is down according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s 2013 “Crime in Tennessee” report, released yesterday.

Franklin Police Chief David Rahinsky credits the 4% drop in crime to vigilant police officers and an engaged community. “Population is up, local business revenue is on the rise, and crime is down,” said Chief Rahinsky. “It’s easy to see why people love calling Franklin home.” Franklin’s top-cop said that innovation, combined with the use of traditional law enforcement models and a committed, hard-working police force help to make the Franklin Police Department successful at its top priority: keeping residents safe.
